Lumbee Tribe Enterprises, LLC
Lumbee Tribe Enterprises, LLC (LTE), wholly owned by Lumbee Holdings, Inc., is a small business established in May of 2011 to provide products and services to Industry and Government partners.
LTE is a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) with a primary NAICS code of 561990 – All Other Support Services. For over 10 years, LTE has maintained a proven track record exceeding expectations in support of our clients’ missions.
LTE graduated from the SBA 8(a) program on October, 14, 2024 and continues to execute sensitive contracts for its government partners. A majority of the LTE team and its entire leadership possess DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency) clearances to perform on the most difficult government efforts.

- One (1) voting director is the Chairperson of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, elected by its members pursuant the Constitution of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina;
- One (1) voting director selected by the Chairperson of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina;
- Two (2) voting directors selected by the Tribal Council of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina; and
- Two (2) voting directors selected by the LTE, LLC Board of Directors
Our Team
Caleb A. Malcolm
Company President
Caleb A. Malcolm became the Company President of Lumbee Tribe Enterprises, LLC (LTE) in July 2022 following a role as Deputy Vice President of Operations. Malcolm is an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for LTE.
Prior to employment with LTE, Malcolm served as Vice President of Information Technology at Lumbee River Electric Membership Corporation (LREMC) and Chief Technical Officer of LREMC-Technologies (a fiber/broadband subsidiary). Malcolm retired from the United States Air Force after 20+ years’ service in 2017 where he served as a cyber officer.
Malcolm is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and currently serves as a public member appointee on the North Carolina Credit Union Commission.
